The clean girl makeup look — closely related to the no-makeup makeup look — is a beauty trend that has
been sweeping the internet.
TikTok's ever-expanding platform has allowed content creators to experiment with a wide range of looks. Despite not everyone being able to afford celebrity facial treatments, TikTok appears to have cracked the code to an off-duty model's clean look. The routine's best feature? It can be done in four steps.
Prepped skin – Radiant looking skin

To have makeup that looks natural, you need to begin by prepping your skin. This means cleansing your face, applying a moisturiser and sunscreen. The key to smooth, porcelain-like skin is to have a good skincare routine in place before applying makeup.
After prepping your skin, apply a tinted moisturizing cream or skin tint to even out your skin tone.
To finish, dust a light dusting of powder all over your face, particularly under your eyes and on blemishes. To achieve maximum dewiness, it's important not to over-powder.
2. Add Blush
A fundamental aspect of the clean girl aesthetic is the appearance of a healthy, flushed complexion, and blush plays a pivotal role in achieving that. Besides, using a liquid blush for an effortless sun-kissed glow, you can also opt for powder blush. Simply employ a blush brush, lightly dusting it over your cheekbones in an upward motion to contour and sculpt your face, enhancing its natural radiance.

If you want natural looking brows, reach for a clear brow gel and brush them out. If you want defined and feathery looking brows, try a tinted brow gel or a thin brow pencil to fill up the sparse gaps in your brows by drawing individual hair-like strokes. By lifting the hairs upward, you will be enhancing your brows' natural shape without changing their shape.
Lastly, no look is complete without a good lip combo. Lightly dab your favourite lip stain from the centre of your lips toward the edges for a kiss-proof flush of colour. Then use a lip oil from Dior or Clarins to achieve the perfect "my lips, but better" look.

For the 'Clean Girl' look, tame the mane with a soft brush and mousse, then brush your strands back with a pump of mousse. Tie it all down with hair ties and bobby pins if you prefer a neater bun. You can elevate the look by adding gold or silver hoops and spritzing fragrance onto the wrist and neck to make everyone take notice.
