Hello everyone, My name is Batrisyia, however you may call me Tris if you want to be short. I began to pursue photography when I was 13 years old and began working as a freelance photographer when I was 17 years old. I did not plan to establish my own business as a youngster, but I feel that doing so provided me with valuable experience and expertise. I learned a number of things, from adjusting the pricing of my photography to dealing with tough clients and recognizing when I had reached my limit. I was able to grow and enhance my photography talents by participating in instasg photo walks. Instasg is a Singapore photographer community club that organizes monthly photo walks where individuals may capture images based on a topic and the picture with the most likes wins. During these picture walks, I met many talented minds and experienced photographers who would offer their ideas and tactics for taking better photos with me.
This site was designed not only to promote my photographic work, but also to share with other photographers who are willing to learn and develop their talents. I used to subscribe to photography publications in order to enhance my talents, but times have changed, and many now want to go digital. Wouldn't it be better if you could learn all you need to know about photography, from shooting innovative photos to editing them, on a single website?
You can be a hobbyist photographer who wants to learn more about photography, or you might be a beginner who needs to understand the fundamentals of photography. I will teach both DSLR and phone photography, as well as how to edit your photographs using the many apps available on your smartphone and PC.
I’m always open to listening to new ideas as well, for instance maybe you would like me to teach you more about a specific genre of photography, how to capture certain images or you found a new editing software and want me to teach you more about it.
